For 2015 NISE has a lot in store for scholars and institutes interested in nationalism studies in general and the comparative study of national movements in particular: new instruments, publications, events etc.
For instance, this year will see the launch of an exciting new bibliographical instrument called The State of Nationalism (SoN) developed with the help of the University of East London (UEL).
Also, the proceedings of the workshop on Choral societies and nationalist mobilization in nineteenth-century Europe will be presented.
One of the sessions at the conference on Heroes, Vilnius, 2014.
The focus for the annual gathering of NISE, hosted by Swansea University, will be on digital humanities, but for instance also the Where to with Nationalism Research? project will be introduced.
The event will moreover provide the ideal setting for the presentation of the new database frame for NISE.
And of course there will be over the year a NISELecture, new volumes of the scholarly journal SNM, international project proposals etc.
